• Local Storage: All breathing session data, progress tracking, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Core Data.
• No Analytics: We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking services.
• No Ads: Dayflux is ad-free and always will be.

2. Data Storage

Local Data

Your breathwork and wellness data is stored exclusively on your device:

• Breathing session records and durations
• Progress tracking and consistency data
• Preferred breathing techniques and patterns
• App preferences and settings
• Session history and statistics

3. Data Sharing

We have a simple policy: We don't share your data because we don't have it.

• No breathing session data is transmitted to our servers (we don't have any)
• No data is shared with third parties
• No data is sold or used for marketing
• No data leaves your device unless you explicitly share it
• No health data is collected or transmitted

4. Your Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete: Remove individual sessions or all data instantly
• Reset: Start fresh whenever you want
• Uninstall: Deleting the app removes all local data
• HealthKit Control: Manage health data permissions in iOS Settings

5. Security

Your data is protected by:

• iOS's built-in security features
• Device passcode/biometric protection
• Encrypted device storage
• No network transmission of personal data
• HealthKit's secure data handling when enabled

6. Health Data Integration

Dayflux integrates with HealthKit responsibly:

• We read HealthKit data only to enhance your breathing sessions
• We do not store any HealthKit data within our app
• All HealthKit data remains in Apple's secure Health app
• You control which health data Dayflux can access
• HealthKit integration can be disabled at any time in Settings
• We never transmit HealthKit data to external servers

7. Notifications

If you enable notifications:

• They are scheduled locally on your device
• No data is sent to push notification servers
• You can customize or disable them anytime
• No personal information is included in notifications

8. Audio and Visual Content

Regarding our guided content:

• Guided audio sessions are stored locally on your device
• No audio is recorded from your device
• Visual breathing guides are generated locally
• No session recordings are created or stored

9. Children's Privacy

Dayflux does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app stores all data locally and requires no personal information to function. Children should use breathing exercises under adult supervision.

10. International Users

For users outside of Australia:

• The same privacy protections apply globally
• Local data storage means compliance with most privacy laws
• No cross-border data transfers occur
• Regional privacy rights are respected

11. Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date
• Notify you through the app if changes are significant
• Always maintain our commitment to privacy-first design
• Never compromise on local data storage principles
